POPPICRAFTS COMPETITION - "NO IMAGES"

Now my craft room is done and im back on track,the Poppicrafts competitions have returned.

Up for grabs this month from the Poppicrafts shop are all 6 blooms to go "the collection"- little stackable jars, each containing 50 2" flowers and blooms to go - Christmas poinsettias - all worth over £22.00

Looking around on blogs etc... I notice that images are everywhere, so I thought I would try and get you to think outside the box. I guess the clue is in the title, thats right -

"NO IMAGES ALLOWED" (oh, I can hear the groans from here) I have a feeling there wont be many entrants for this one.!!!! Sentiments are allowed, but no images. Also, it has to consist of any combination of my favourite colours only - Black, pink, green and white. So for example, it could be just black and white, or just pinks, or maybe even all four colours.

Just send me a link to the card on your blog, or email a picture of your card to me and i'l pop by.

The winner will be judged on originality as opposed to being pulled from a hat

Closing date for entries is 31st October and the winner will be announced on the 2nd November.

Also, just to let you know there will be a new kit released tonight at poppicrafts and also a couple of mini kits throughout this week. Lots of you have been asking about the 1" blooms and they should hopefully be back in stock at the end of the week.
I spent last night putting myself under a bit of pressure and trying to produce lots of Christmas cards for an order I have. But in typical "ME" stylie, the quicker I was trying to work, the worse they were turning out. I thought that as I had a couple of hours to spare I might be able to produce some good work - what a joke!!!! I must blog them later - they are truly diabolical.

Design Team Update

Nothing to show today. I was unwell last week so am a bit behind on my work. I just wanted to say thank you for the huge response for the design team call. I shall be popping by all of your blogs this week to look at your beautiful work and will announce the team shortly.
Thanks to everyone for asking about Poppis speech therapy. She had her appointment which we have been waiting for since March and she was really good, sitting there for an hour looking at pictures and saying what she saw. It was just so funny, there was a picture of a frog and the speech therapist asked her what it was, she answered correctly. Then she asked "what has the frog got on his head Poppi?" Mouthing the word "crown" to see whether Poppi could say it ok.
"His pants?" said Poppi. Well I nearly wet myself. Admitingly, it wasnt a very good drawing of a crown, but it certainly didnt look like pants!!!!! Anyway, the upshot is, that she actually does not need speech therapy after all. Which is a bit odd. I guess that she has improved since March, so it is all good!!!!
Just to let you know there will be a competition next week to win some Poppicrafts goodies, so watch this space.
